She writes independently about the performing and fine arts, museums, literature, mythology and religion for various Indian publications. Previously, she has worked as an advertising professional, a journalist and a museum professional among other things in her 12+ years of industry experience. She is gradually moving towards the developmental sector and wants to work in the area of interreligious peace. She is currently enrolled as a long-distance candidate for the Professional Doctorate program of Interfaith Studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and her research interests include interfaith art, conflict resolution and peace-building, especially in the Hinduism-Islam context of India. She also takes a keen interest in minority rights, and gender and heritage studies.
Manisha is a poet, a film critic, a teacher, a community builder, an advertising copywriter, a dreamer, a traveler, a columnist and a mom, not necessarily in that order. She is passionate about teaching cinema, writing and communication and still finds time to host the oldest open mic in the city at Prithvi cafe. She is the founder of Caferati, the online writing forum which started with 16 writers and now has grown to over 10,000 members across the world.

Meeta is a writer, speaker and advisor on education and skills and the future of the engagment between humans and technology. She has been a banker, a teacher, a researcher and an advocate for better education. She writes short stories and poetry, and often short stories in verse.
